“Working with no other orchestra gave me as much satisfaction as my work, as soloist and conductor, with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra” (Yehudi Menuhin) This exactly orchestra is coming to Varna with a program, consisting of works by Mozart and famous polish composers. Menuhin was the heart of the expansion of the Polish chamber orchestra in 1984 and of the establishment of Sinfonia Varsovia as musical centre. With Penderecki among musical directors, Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra has played over 4000 concerts all over the world with soloists as great as Martha Argerich and Anne-Sophie Mutter and conductors like Gergiev, Lutosławski, and Lorin Maazel. What a way to celebrate the Polish presidency of the Council of Europe.
