19-year-old Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto has captivated audiences around the world. In 2019 she made her solo debuts at Carnegie Hall and the Wiener Konzerthaus. She has an extensive repertoire and has performed with orchestras in Japan, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, the USA and Italy.In 2021 she made her solo debuts in the Konzerthaus with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra.
In 2022, she went on a tour to Spain with the Vienna chamber orchestra as a soloist. Ms. Yoshimoto is currently a student of Prof. Michael Frischenschlager at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and Prof. Augustin Dumay at the Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel.Known for her phenomenal musicianship, Ms. Yoshimoto is a prize winner of numerous international violin competitions, including the Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition 2022 (2nd prize), 2020 Shanghai Isaac Stern international violin competition (scholarship winner).
She was selected as a 2020/2021 Rohm Music Foundation scholarship recipient. (Japan)
She also received a scholarship from Mr. Heinz Schinner in Vienna.
She plays as the first violin in Goldmark Quartett since 2022.
