Music of Spain

Four eminent Spanish composers who lived and worked in the second half of 19th century and beginning of the 20th in one impressive program that includes one of the most famous and technically appealing pieces for violin – Sarasate’s Carmen Fantasy, as well as music by Enrique Fernandez Arbos (virtuoso violinist and one of Spain’s greatest composers of that time) who is rarely performed in Bulgaria. And piano quartet and piano quintet by two of the important for the formation of Spanish school composers – Joaquin Turina and Enrique Granados. These Spanish masterpieces will be presented by a pleiad of highly professional instrumentalists from Austria, Croatia, Bulgaria, Albania, Slovakia and Bulgaria. As Spain is taking over the Presidency of the Council of EU, here is the best proof how music unites people.
