The Beauty of Bulgarian Folklore Music
Three of the best instrumentalists in Bulgarian folklore are joining forces to present the pure beauty of the traditional Bulgarian music. The virtuoso kaval player Nedyalko Nedyalkov who is equally brilliant in Ethno, World and Jazz Music, and has Grammy in his collection of awards (Grammy for Best Small Ensemble performance for one of his common projects with Jordi Savall, a prominent contemporary musician, conductor, and ambassador for intercultural dialogue), has travelled the world presenting Bulgarian music. Then we have Peyo Peev, one of the most renowed gadulka players who had toured all over Europe with the famous Riverdance show and Hong Kong with the Mystery of Bulgarian voices. Since 2000 he has been a soloist of the Bulgarian National Radio Folk Ensemble (the same is Nedyalko Nedyalkov) and performes with different ensembles throughout Europe, the USA, Japan. The last but not least is Petar Milanov who plays tamboura but is as good as a guitarist (as such, he is a part of the BppCheMish Album of the composer Petar Dundakov with Lisa Gerard and The Mystery of Bulgarian voices, The three of them have been ambassadors of Bulgarian folkore all over the world in various musical collaborations. Here they had prepared a special program with authentically traditional Bulgarian music.
