Beethoven for piano and viola

Ludmil Angelov and Rumen Tsvetkov actively perform as a duo since 2016. Both of them are closely connected to Spain – Ludmil Angelov recently has been awarded the Orderof Isabella the Catholic, he has been teaching for years at the Royal Academy in Toledo; Roumen Tsvetkov whose background includes studying in USA and Master’s Degree in Netherlands, he also teaches in Spani, as well as in Netherlands and besides, back in 2012 he had been invited by Zubin Metha to join the Royal Spanish Opera House Reina Sofia as a solo violist. Both of them are constantly invited to perform at prestigious festivals in Bulgaria and all over Europe and have recorded several albums together. These two instrumentalists believe in profound study and interpretation of music. They have designed a special all-Beethoven program that includes sonatas for viola and violoncello, especially arranged for viola by Rumen Tsvetkov.
