The fantastic sound of the Cristal for the first time in Varna
The audience of Varna Summer festival will have an exceptional meeting with an unusual musical instrument – the Cristal will sound for the first time in the city of Varna. Michel Deneuve and Debussy String Quartet will present their special project at the Aula hall of the University of Economics – Varna.
The program includes works by Michel Deneuve himself, who composes music for Cristal, and also pieces by the famous French composers Claude Debussy and Eric Satie.
Michel Deneuve is a world-renowned maestro dedicated to the Cristal since 1977. He explores the Cristal’s possibilities by playing alongside musicians with different styles on his concert tours to other countries, sharing his music with these musicians and their instruments from all tendencies, all nationalities. The elegant technique performed by the glass sticks arouses the admiration of the audience at every concert.
The Debussy String Quartet accepts the challenge to play with Michel Deneuve. In thirty years of activity, the Debussy String Quartet has been acclaimed throughout the world, continually sharing the same passion in its musical interpretations on the world’s most prestigious stages, creating bridges with different artistic fields such as dance, theatre and even circus.
