One of the top chamber formations in the current international scene, Shostakovich Ensemble is coming back to Varna with a program that combines the most famous and often performed pieces for string trio by two remarkable composers. Beethoven’s Ghost trio named after some Shakespeare references in its profoundly beautiful second movement and Dvorak’s Dumky, a piece where Bohemian folklore shines like a diamond. Based in Lisbon since its foundation, by the pianist and artistic director Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro, Shostakovich Ensemble keeps spreading thе joy of making music according to the highest instrumental and artistic standards.
