Harmony, cohesion and passion
Six leading musicians from the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy “Santa Cecilia” once got together to perform at the concerts of the International Exhibition “The art of the violin” held at Castel Sant ‘Angel in Rome. They continue playing together and soon become one of the finest chamber ensembles in Europe. They regularly tour in South America and Asia; their recent 19 concerts in the most prestigious venues in Germany were so successful that they will be touring there again in 2026; in Italy the Sextet is part of all the important festivals; they are often invited to represent Italian culture at many international forums. They are highly praised by critics and listeners for their interesting programs and the high quality of their interpretation. The Stradivari Sextet often “takes” classical music to unusual places gaining new audiences – they had performed, for instance, at the parallel program of the FIFA World Cup. The harmony, cohesion and passion – this is how this Sextet might be described best!
