Four brilliant musicians from Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, two concertmasters among them – our very own Albena Danailova, the orchestra’s first female concertmaster and Rainer Honeck who has been holding the position of a first concertmaster for 33 years! Equally impressive is the principal violist of the Vienna Philharmonic since 2023, who had hold the same position in Barcelona Symphony and at Bavarian State Orchestra, Behjamin Beck, as well as Raphael Flieder – the first cello at the VP since 1996. A quartet that every festival dreams of because of their signature sound, grace and flawless interpretation! We are happy to announce Vienna Philharmonic Quartet’ program at Varna Summer International festival – pieces by Mozart, Haydn and Debussy! Chamber music is their mission and they keep playing in quest of perfection!
