Hristo Yotsov is an important figure at Bulgarian Jazz scene for almost four decades (remember the Acoustic Version duo). A versatile musician, brilliant arranger, professor at the Jazz Department of the National Academy of Music, he has been recently focusing on composition. He had written concerts for oboe and orchestra, the unique concert for trumpet, trombone and symphony orchestra, etc.
Zodiac suite was a huge success since its premiere in 2024. The idea for this musical letter to the world famous Japanese writer (and huge music lover) Haruki Murakami comes from the producer Mario Krastev. Hristo Yotsov composes 12 small lovable pieces dedicated to each of the zodiac signs. Witty, beautiful, creative and rich in texture, Zodiacs are so cinematic! Fantastic company of musicians come together to perform them – alongside the author, you will hear Sofia Quartet, and two members of talented Yotsov family – his daughter Nadezhda who is coming from Germany especially for this concert and his brother Borislav, a virtuoso clarinet player! Come to this festive concert and find out how your sign sounds!
