USA, Canada, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Europe – this is a shortlist of places where virtuoso and versatile artist in marimba and percussion Tatiana Koleva has presented her innovative musical projects, based on her “marimba-extended” technique. A Varna Music School graduate, she then moved to the Netherlands to study, live and teach. She travels all over the world to perform and give master classes.
Fabulous rhythms and stunning music ideas – this is Tatiana’s trademark! Two times “Musician of the Year” of the Bulgarian National Radio, she has chosen to present at “Varna Music Summer” a special program together with the master of the kaval, Zhivko Vasiles who blends in a fantastic way the typical Balkan sounds and the new music trends. Equally important is the key presence of Ruben Kieftenbelt (electronics) thus shaping the three elements from the name of the concert!
